  • Q: Am I going to be hungry?
    A:  It’s common to feel hungry during the first week of the 500 calorie phase.  It’s because your stomach is not use to feeling empty.  By the end of the first week, the HCG’s ability to control your hunger should be functioning. 

     Q. What do I do if I am still hungry after a week?
    A.  I recommend adding a good quality amino acid to your daily regimen such as our Amino Blend by Progressive Labs.  We are also recommending a low-dose multi-vitamin/mineral supplement from Standard Process called Catalyn or All-in-One by Novus Optimum.   It’s important to drink at least 2 liters of water a day as well as herbal teas such as Yerba Mate, which is good for appetite control.

  •  Homeopathic HCG Diet Protocol

     This protocol is based on the diet developed in the 1950’s by Dr. A.T.W Simeons.  The theory behind the protocol is that the HCG mobilizes abnormal fat (not structural or stored fat) which is then released into the bloodstream and burned for fuel during the 500 calorie phase of the diet.  There are 4 phases to the Homeopathic HCG diet protocol.  Phase one can be repeated approximately every 6 months, while the other phases are repeated as soon as you have completed the fourth phase.  Phases 2-4 may be repeated as many times as necessary to attain your goal.   • The following is a list of starches that you are allowed to eat durring phase 3 of the diet when you start slowly adding starches to your diet.

    FRESH FRUIT: any type, including bananas, melons, and grapes
    DRIED FRUITS: any type, but NO canned fruits, however.
    VEGETABLES: any type in any quantity. Corn, peas and potatoes are not considered vegetables (too starchy).
    DAIRY: you may drink low fat milk, and eat low fat dairy such as yogurt (sugar free) and cottage cheese. NO CHEESE, however.
    LEGUMES: you may eat kidney beans, pinto beans, navy beans, black eyed peas, etc.
    NUTS: you may eat any type of nut, but should limit to one ounce a day
    EGGS are ok also

  • Phase 1 – Detox and Cleansing

    • Begin switch to as many organic foods as possible.
    • Begin drinking a minimum of 2 liters of water a day, preferably more, up to a gallon.

  • HCG is an acronym for the hormone Human Chorio Gonadotropin, which is found in both men and women, though pregnant women have the highest levels of HCG in their bodies.     A: Yes.

  • Q: Will I lose exactly one pound every day while on the program?
    A: No. Most patients on the 23-day program tend to lose about 20-25 pounds; however, the weight loss does not always happen evenly over 23-day period. Some patients may notice a “lull” or a span of a few days where little to no weight loss occurs. Some patients often notice quick weight loss after a “lull” period.

    Q: Is there anything I have to do before I can start the program?
