Use these tips during Phase 3 and 4 to help maintain your Phase 2 diet losses when dining out.
One of the biggest obstacles dieters face is sticking to their plan when dining out at a restaurant. It can be a scary prospect – all those tempting sights and smells. But I say you can eat out and still stick to your plan – no matter where you go. Just follow these 10 tips:
Q: Am I going to be hungry?
A: It’s common to feel hungry during the first week of the 500 calorie phase. It’s because your stomach is not use to feeling empty. By the end of the first week, the HCG’s ability to control your hunger should be functioning.
Q. What do I do if I am still hungry after a week?
A. I recommend adding a good quality amino acid to your daily regimen such as our Amino Blend by Progressive Labs. We are also recommending a low-dose multi-vitamin/mineral supplement from Standard Process called Catalyn or All-in-One by Novus Optimum. It’s important to drink at least 2 liters of water a day as well as herbal teas such as Yerba Mate, which is good for appetite control.
This protocol is based on the diet developed in the 1950’s by Dr. A.T.W Simeons. The theory behind the protocol is that the HCG mobilizes abnormal fat (not structural or stored fat) which is then released into the bloodstream and burned for fuel during the 500 calorie phase of the diet. There are 4 phases to the Homeopathic HCG diet protocol. Phase one can be repeated approximately every 6 months, while the other phases are repeated as soon as you have completed the fourth phase. We have recently been using a new diet protocol in our practice. After seeing a Kevin Trudeau infomercial on TV which advertised his book, “The Weight-loss Cure They Don’t Want You to Know About”, I became curious about his successful weight loss so I ordered his book. I read it, but became discouraged as he suggested that you’d have to leave the country for up to 45 days and take injections of HCG in a clinic.

The following is a list of starches that you are allowed to eat durring phase 3 of the diet when you start slowly adding starches to your diet.
FRESH FRUIT: any type, including bananas, melons, and grapes
DRIED FRUITS: any type, but NO canned fruits, however.
VEGETABLES: any type in any quantity. Corn, peas and potatoes are not considered vegetables (too starchy).
DAIRY: you may drink low fat milk, and eat low fat dairy such as yogurt (sugar free) and cottage cheese. NO CHEESE, however.
LEGUMES: you may eat kidney beans, pinto beans, navy beans, black eyed peas, etc.
NUTS: you may eat any type of nut, but should limit to one ounce a day
EGGS are ok also
