• How the HCG Diet Works

    HCG is an acronym for the hormone: Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, which is found in both men and women, though preganat women have the highest levels of HCG in their bodies by far. HCG injections or supplements are typically given to women who need help ovulating and to men who want to increase sperm count.

    An Oral Homeopathic HCG is also one component of the diet plan the we provide.

    The HCG Diet has been shown to benefit both men and women similarly, though experts do not recommend that women do the diet if they are pregnant or nursing, and thus already have elevated levels of HCG levels.

    By adhering to the diet plan and taking a daily dose of Oral Homeopathic HCG, participants can successfully reach their targeted weight. Dieters following the HCG Diet should expect to lose somewhere between a half pound and 3 pounds (.23 to 1.36 kilograms) each day on the low-calorie, high-fiber diet plan.

    Requirements for the HCG Diet

    BEFORE you can do the HCG Diet you must complete the following:Weight Loss Examples

    1. Go to our Intake Form and fill it out completely.
    2. Once you complete the last page of that form and click on “Get Results” we will contact you using the information that you have provided on the form.
    3. An appointment will be set for either phone consultation or an office visit depending on how far away you live from our clinic.
    4. Your Intake Form results will help us to determine what factors may have be addressed before starting the HCG Diet and a custom program will be suggested for you to obtain maximum results.

    You may call to let us know that you have filled out the Intake Form and set your appointment to get started sooner.

    If you call to set up an appointment but have not filled out the intake form, you will be asked to go back to the website (http://www.hcg4life.com/intake/ ) and fill it out ahead of time before your appointment will be scheduled.

    Consultations usually last about 1 hour.

    PLEASE READ:

    This diet takes at least a 23 day commitment. If you are unwilling to commit to the diet for this long, then this diet isn’t for you. Also, BEFORE you start, don’t forget to measure yourself – your thighs, hips, waist, bust, arms. You WILL drop many inches. Some people drop more than 20 inches (you add the inches up – i.e 3 from the waist, 2 from the thighs, 2 from the bust, 1 from each arm, etc) in just the first 2 weeks. Even when there is only a 5-10 pound weight loss, you can still lose the inches. This is because you are losing FAT, and FAT weighs less than muscle. You are not going to lose muscle on this diet, like you would on many other traditional diets.

    You DO need to follow the instructions provided. Some of the most common questions can be answered in the instructions. Yes, you do need to take a potassium supplement every day. Yes, you do need to pig out and eat a lot of fatty foods the first two days of the diet. This starts the fat metabolism process. Yes, you need to measure and weigh every day. Yes, you will see results. Yes, men can do this diet. They also can eat a little bit more than women can on it. If you do mess up by eating a little bit larger meal than you intended, that should be fine. It won’t ruin your diet. Just be careful with the sugars/carbs and the fats.

    The diet summary is as follows:

    • 2 days of pigging out and taking the HcG
    • 18 days of restricted eating while taking the HcG
    • 3 days of restricted eating AFTER finishing the HcG (this is the first step to the maintenance phase)
    • 21 days of “watching what you eat” – The maintenance phase. This consists of eating regularly but watching the carbs and sugars and fats. This is the period where your weight stabilizes. You will most likely continue to lose inches and pounds during this stage. However, don’t eat carbs and sugars at the same time (if you eat bread or pasta for dinner, skip the dessert, and don’t eat BOTH bread and pasta in the same meal). This is just for 3 weeks.
    • After this allotted time you can eat whatever you want as long as you follow the maintenance phase and weigh yourself every day.

    Be aware that the HCG itself does not cause weight loss, it just modifies your eating behavior. This will make it possible to maintain the diet.

    The HCG weight loss program serves to improve glandular and metabolic function while evoking fat loss and improvement of health. It is a ‘holistic’ program that encourages emotional and physical wellness which allows the client to lose substantial stores of body fat and calibrate their metabolism.

    HCG helps to burn the “mobile fat”; that is the fat that is stored around the hips, thighs, belly and upper arms. It will however leave the so called “structural fat”, that can be found in the muscles and protects the organs, untouched. This way the excess fat will disappear even faster, the problem areas will be dealt with more efficiently and this way of losing weight.
